upcoming event: Auction and fundraiser
The Great River Shakespeare Festival’s annual fundraiser is happening right now! And great news! You can support the festival from wherever you are between now and July 21.
How? By bidding on items in our online auction! Or by simply making a donation of any size through the auction-fundraiser site.
This year’s auction offers some super special and even one-or-a-kind items:
Pulitzer-Prize-winner Jennifer Egan visit for your book club via Zoom
a scenic flight over Winona
a hand-bound copy of the script that the stage manager used to call Midsummer or Pericles
Read more about these offerings and see the rest at the auction-fundraiser site.
The auction closes on July 21. If you don’t want to bid on an item, please consider donating to the theater.
If you’re in Winona, you won’t want to miss our in-person fundraiser: Callithump. It’s an audience favorite, one of the hottest tickets in town! Callithump is a ridiculously fun, boisterous, and wildly entertaining fundraising show re-envisioned annually and produced by our company members. Tickets go fast, so buy early! The fun starts at 5 p.m. with games and music outside the theater. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Many thanks in advance for your consideration and support of the theater!
